Crazy Piecing with Strips
Experiment with easy piecing, fabulous fabrics and decorative threads. You can create one-of-a-kind wall-hangings, small projects, throws, or your own designer yardage for wonderful wearable art. Seminole Piecing Workshop
Seminole piecing is a form of strip-piecing made famous by the Seminole Indians and is a wonderful way to make intricate designs quickly and easily. The pieced bands can be used to embellish clothing, placemats, totebags, etc., as borders for other projects, or can be combined to make a sampler-style Seminole quilt. And that's just for starters! (previous experience with strip-piecing very helpful.) Full day class.

Learn exciting ways to add rich texture and intriguing accents to small art quilts, post cards and journal quilts. We’ll be playing with organza, netting, Fast2Fuse, Lutrador, glitter, inks, paintsticks, fibers, beads, charms - and that’s not all! It’s a great chance to try all those fabulous techniques featured in Quilting Arts magazine. There will be an additional $10.00 supplies fee due the day of the class to cover specialty items provided. Two-day workshop.

Celtic Stained Glass Window
From Beth Ann's book, Celtic Quilts: A New Look for Ancient Designs. Learn appliqué and quilt in one step (or quilt-as-you-go) stained glass techniques while making a lovely wall-hanging based on a Celtic-style medallion. This class uses purchased fusible Quick-Bias. Full day class.

Celtic True Lover's Knot
From Beth Ann's book, Celtic Quilts: A New Look for Ancient Designs. The one continuous line that forms this design is symbolic of the eternal nature of true love - love without end. The sample project was finished as a small wall-hanging, but it would work equally well as a decorative pillow or as a repeat block in a bed quilt. This is an especially good introductory pattern for those who have not yet tried Celtic applique by machine. Students learn to make their own bias. Full day class.
